The timing of this year’s WSOP means that there are six weekends available on which to place the competition’s biggest and most exciting events. We’re talking about the mega prize pools, and the tournaments that attract the most players.

The action kicks off the very first weekend with the world’s largest live poker event – the $565 Colossus III, which will take place from June 2nd-4th. For three consecutive days, there will be two starting flights a day, at 10am and 4pm. The $1,500 Millionaire Maker has just one flight starting at 10am on both the Saturday and Sunday of the competition. In 2016, the Millionaire Maker attracted a whopping 7,190 entries. There was a $9.7 million prize pool, and two new players became millionaires.

If you fall in the senior category (over 65), you best book your tickets to Las Vegas for the weekend of the 16th-18th June. Be sure to be up and at ‘em bright and early for the 10 o’clock start on Saturday and Sunday for the $1,000 Senior and Super Seniors event.
